This is a course from our project Sexuality Connect. Coordinated by Kehsia from Luxembourg together with Donnexstrada from Italy and us.

Designed specifically for youth workers, educators, and trainers, this course moves beyond fear-based “stranger danger” narratives. Instead, it provides a rights-based, trauma-informed, and highly practical framework to help professionals guide young people toward safe, healthy, and resilient digital and sexual lives.

Course Overview

This self-paced, multilingual course takes approximately 10 to 12 hours to complete. It is divided into 5 comprehensive modules, blending deep theoretical foundations with cutting-edge interactive tools, downloadable resources, and peer-to-peer collaboration.

Whether you are an experienced youth worker or a teacher looking to update your approach to Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), this course will equip you with the exact vocabulary, protocols, and digital tools you need to meet teens where they are.

️ What You Will Learn: The 5 Modules

Module 1: Foundations of Inclusive Sex Education

Master the core principles of UNESCO’s Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). Learn how to create shame-free, inclusive, and culturally sensitive learning environments that respect the diverse identities and backgrounds of all young people.

Module 2: Healthy Relationships, Consent & Gender Justice

Move beyond the simple “yes/no” model of consent. Explore the FRIES model, dismantle harmful gender norms, and learn how to facilitate deep, respectful conversations about power dynamics, bodily autonomy, and healthy relationship models.

Module 3: Navigating the Digital Sexual Landscape

Understand how digital environments shape young people’s understanding of bodies and intimacy. Develop critical media literacy to help teens analyze the impact of mainstream pornography, social media algorithms, filter dysmorphia, and performative online intimacy.

Module 4: Teaching Digital Safety & Ethical Online Behavior

Learn concrete, step-by-step first-response protocols for digital harms. This module provides essential safeguarding tools for handling Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII), sextortion, digital coercive control, and peer-to-peer image sharing, ensuring you know exactly what to do (and what not to do) in a crisis.

Module 5: Modern Relationships in the Digital Age

Decode the confusing world of modern digital dating. Learn how to support teens navigating “situationships,” ghosting, breadcrumbing, and digital rejection. Equip them with practical scripts to set boundaries, “Define the Relationship” (DTR), and build emotional resilience in the swipe-culture era.

Ready-to-Use Practical Toolkits: Download and adapt ready-made resources for your youth center, including the First Response Protocol for Online Harm, the Ethical Sharing Agreement, and Digital Media Diet Audits.
Safe Peer Community: Engage in moderated, pseudonymous discussion forums to share challenges, swap best practices, and collaborate with youth workers across Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, and the rest of Europe.

🎓 Certification and Recognition

Because we value your time and professional development, the course is fully accredited within the project framework. Upon successful completion of all 5 modules and the final evaluation survey, participants will automatically receive an Official Certificate of Completion.

This certificate recognizes your advanced competency in sexual and digital health literacy and can be used for your professional development portfolio, CV, or organizational reporting.
